Nina De Sole, organiste
Nina De Sole is resident organist at the Churches of Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Sainte-Thérèse-de-L'Enfant-Jésus and Saint-Gilbert in Montréal.
She did her studies in Translation,Organ Performance and Church Music at McGill University. Few years later, Nina also participated in an Improvisation Seminar at The McGill Summer Organ Academy, with Doctor Julian Wachner. All along her education, she had the inmense privilege of recieving the precious advices of Bengt Hambraeus and Marie-Claire Alain.
Afterwards, Nina perfected her Organ studies with Pierre Grandmaison, resident organist of Notre-Dame-de-Montréal Basilica; In 1994, she was the guest organist of the Ambassador of Chile in Canada, for the Solemn Mass in honor of the beatification of Father Alberto Hurtado, at The Gésù Church in Montréal. Nina also participated as assistant organist in the televised Mass of Christmass 1995, at Notre-Dame de Montréal Basilica. In October 2001, she had the honor of playing at the special ceremony for the visit of the Great Reliquary of Sainte Thérèse de Lisieux, at the Church of Sainte-Thérèse-de-L'Enfant-Jésus, in Montréal. Nina De Sole performs regularly in recital in Quebec and also internationally, we may note that she performed at Capestang France, Santiago de Chile and Havana, Cuba. At the same time, she also pursues her carreer as a Court Interpreter and Translator. |
